HAPPY XMAS

Bah humbug!
As per normal i've cancelled Xmas! :)
But if you haven't ,then have a good one!! :)

Gotta work again Xmas eve/day... Still it saves any "who's turn is it for family Xmas" type arguments...

I'll go with you on this one Chris , ding dong merrily on high and all that . Felling a bit smug as i've done all the Christmas shopping . ( on line , all the wrong stuff for all the wrong people ) it's the thought that counts eh ? Merry Crimbo :D

True meaning of Christmas and the magic has long gone,
I believe the commercial aspect has ruined the whole thing bring back the OLD days when Sundays where Sundays, Bank holidays where bank holidays. I could go on but Im going to stop myself and in the spirit of this thread wish you all a Merry Christmas :)

I just celebrate the end of a hopefully fruitfull year, where I have achieved most of my aims by buying myself a prezzie,,or 2.
This year its a new 32" flat tv and a PC base unit.
I managed to get the P6V8 repainted although I didnt get the webasto roof retrimmed.
Got the PLK1E reg number I had long been searching for and sold the 1967 VW Karmann that it was on,sold Connor the blue P6 2000sc that I bought to tide me over while I did the V8's repaint and even managed a venture into a moderm classic Jag XK8 that didnt suit me,and even managed to sell it for a profit.
And finally settled my wrist injury negligence case.
All in all a very good year, now to set some targets for next year.
:?: :?: Find a nice project car to play with and do some house decorating. :!: :!:

to be honest i dont like xmas you spend money you havent got on things you dont want and see people you dont like and wouldnt normly speak to

Now thats one thing I will be doing celebrating the end of this year. Its been one off the worst for me personaly.
Roll on 2012 :D

I'm with Guy, it's not like it used to be, too commercial now. Shops should not be allowed to sell Christmas stuff until the 1st December. people around here have Had their Christmas decorations up for nearly 2 weeks, they should be 12 days before and 12 days after Christmas day. I'm not in the " buy everyone a present brigade" and those I do buy get what I can afford. Having said that I still do celebrate Christmas, it's a magical time of year for the younger kids, but even that is changing with parents telling kids that it's them that buy the presents and not Father christmas. How sad.
Now I'm not wishing anyone a merry Christmas for at least another 7 days. Cheers from grumpy old man :D
