Gorgeous 3500

Those white wall tyres look awful... the interior is a little too 'fake-new' looking for my liking too but otherwise nice!

That car was at our national last year rp6c,back then it had its original auto wheels and tyres,i remember talking to the owner and he said he wanted 4k for it,someone has bought it and trying to make a few quid off it,i remember the car been a really nice example :D

It was up for sale in october for about £4200 & looked lovely & original. I spoke to the owner & would have gone to look at it, but unfortunately I was away in Scotland for the weekend. By the time I returned it had of course sold. It does look a bit messed about with now. The tyres look awful & your right, the seats look more than a bit shiny, they didn't 5 months ago. If you look on Car & Classic this car appears to be on there twice, the most recent add being with this dealer & then a bit further down it's up for £4900, although with no pictures.
Roly.

Hi well there always one isn t there, i like them think it looks smart with the white walls , its a wonderfull car i would pay that for it if i was nt in bed with santandar lol, i think some cars are worth that little bit more in saying that thou it would have to be completely rot free, and drive spot on.
i was thinking of fittine white walls to my rosie a red 2000sc any thoughts guys , good idea or is it time i had my eyes tested lol.
marcus :D

thats one of the good things on here you can run ideas past people and get some good feedback or ideas before you go ahead with them, can save lots of time or money.
marcus :D

I spotted it earlier on this evening, it's got some nice bits but i agree, i reckon it' a £4k car.

I had a good chat with the (somewhat aggresive) previous owner at the Quainton Road bash in August.

I was a splendid car, but not concours class, I'd say £4500 would be fair money.

Cheers
Nick

I think they suit a NADA car, just seems right but not the rest
It's all personal preference though :)

It's your car and therefore entirely about what you like!

It's on Ebay with a fuller description.

Not sure about 'Proper hubcaps', I thought these were S items, not auto, and the 'rare factory leather covered sports steering wheel', I thought that was also standard auto.

Was this car for sale in Shropshire last year on Carandclassic for about £4.2k ish? If so I nearly went to look at it, I liked the colour, and, I could live with the whitewalls, but it has been said I have no sense in matters of taste or style!

i think the whitewalls actually look good with this car but i reckon it depends on the colour of the car having a lot to do with it.

Just noticed it has now been sold (on ebay)

I know this is an old thread but I think the thin band white wall tyres look really nice with the 'S' trims. They 'bring out' wheel detail, especially as they look a tad wider than the standard skinny tyres. Also I think the leather looked nice, fresh show room look with the satin finish. I guess its all a personnal choice, good to be different than follow the norm like sheep

Could be Corsica Blue??
I am not usually a big fan of whitewall or whiteband tyres on P6s. However, I think you kind of get away in this instance, given that it's a thin white band and given the colour of the car body & interior.

and its definately a 2K paintjob. there's no way you'd get a shine like that with cellulose. Nice job but defo repainted. Wonder what hides beneath!
