i just had my gear lever break off in my hand this morning. bit of a surprise! lucky my missus wasn't driving it as she is normally the pilot nowadays. Well anyway i had a spare gear lever but it didn't have the bush on the bottom. just thought you would be interested to hear my fix which i will keep you posted on. i am a sparky and i use heavy walled "raychem
' heat shrink with a glue inside it which melts and forms a bond when heated. it's used to make durable water proof repairs to cables underground etc. well i've put a couple of layers of it on my gear stick. it hardens up to an identical feel as the original bush. chucked it in and it works a treat! I'll keep you posted on its longevity as its a daily driver. Shane
