the front wings on my 3500S are different. one is completely rounded under the side light/indicator unit and the other has like a point on it,which follows down the wing, if you know what i mean. any ideas why this is? maybe a difference between S1 and S2 wings or difference between 4 cyl and V8?

Having intimate knowledge of S1 front wings over the past 2 months I can say that they should be nicely rounded with no pointy bit & I think you'll find there's absolutely no difference between S1 & S2 or 4-pot & V8, bar the trim-strip on 1 & 2's. Patent part/Over enthusiastic shaping of an old repair?

A nomber of wings rit at that peak at the front, running up to the hole for the light. As such you may find one of yours has been gobbed up and not very well hence poor shape. Or else it is a moody pattern part.
