Front Valence - Sourcing and Replacing

Hi

I want to replace the front valence on my newly acquired 1972 3500. Shall I need to replace the front crossmember as well. Only part I saw on JR Wadhams site was frt val for 2000 model. Any Suggestions? Any hints / tips on replacement would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also trying to located a knackered 3500 engine and Auto gearbox for rebuild purposes. Last engine I went near was a VW Type 2 1600 rebuild about 15 years ago.

Northern Ireland if possible?

hi,
the front valence fastens on by two self tapping screws on the top of the valence, one either side directly in the middle of the headlights. then by two bolts welded on to a bracket under the front wings. the bumper will have to come off first and one of the bumper brackets. the front cross member is a seperate piece and should be solid, i have never seen one gone and i have broken some rotten ones over the years. ring me on 01302 750747 for a valence. i am also getting some rust free ones from california along with doors and wings and loads of other stuff.
