:angry: has anybody changed the front crank oil seal on a 72 2000sc. I have just aquired the vehicle (was I tucked up, Probably), and at the moment it is an environmental disaster ??? . It currently consumes 1 gallon of engine oil to cover approx 5 miles,( most of it going on the tarmac, it did make nice patterns in the rain though, £15.00 well spent?) :0 . back to the point, is a front seal available? does anyone know a supplier?
how much of the car has to be removed to fit it? is the seal face on the crank a problem?
