Front brakes/ flexable hoses Jacking up/axle stand placement

Probably silly questions for all you experienced members.. but my next job is to refurb the front brake callipers, the car was pulling to one side when last on the road so I was planning to get both calipers refurbed and change the flexible hoses.

First question is ideally I want to jack the front up and leave it on axle stands, but am unsure where the best place to put the axle stands as there is no real flat chassis?

Second question is should I go for the goodridge braided hoses?

Thirdly is it ok to do just the front hoses as braided and leave the back until I get around to the back later?

Any advice gratefully received please.

I have successfully lifted the car by jacking under the middle of the front cross member. Once high enough, then insert suitable lengths of strong round steel into the side jacking points- I used off cuts of galvanised water pipe, and support the car with your stands under those.

Best check jacking points for corrosion first.
There is just enough space to place stands under front 'tie rod' bush (near shock mount)
