Fog Lamps

Are the headlamps meant to go out when you select "Fog" on the dashboard switch?

They are indeed. The wiring is the same on the P5B's.

Hi Sorry to barge in on this thread

But have I read this correct ,that when you turn on the front fog lamps ,the head lamps go out and you are left with side and fog lamps only ?

Yes Adam that is correct, except one auxilliary lamp is a fog lamp and the other is a spotlamp. I have the fog lamp mounted on the nearside to light up the edge of the road whilst the spotlamp gives you penetration (allegedly )
