Fitting Rear Fog Lights

To fit the rear fogs from what i can see

you cant fit to outside of overriders due to exhaust, so offset overiders - this i think would not look right

Make a mounting bracket from overider fixing bolt to fit on inside of overiders.

or

Drill bumper and bolt direct - my choice at moment.

Has anyone a link to any pics of some fitted so i can estimate spacing?

also is existing wiring in place 1972 2000 TC

I think that a period looking single rear fog light at the place where the early cars had the reverse light fitted (jacking pad) would look rather smart. You just have to be careful using the rear jacking pad. I don't think that there in any wiring in there though. Rear fog lights became compulsory rather later.

decided to fit a pair on inner side of rear overrider
just got to find power point

dash has a fog switch on headlights but i cant find any wires in rear that are spare so maybe its for front fogs lights?

cheers

Blue & yellow wire IIRC. You'll find the take off in the passenger knee locker. But only use it if you want to lose the headlights when you switch your rear foglights on.
Actually, that sounds like a good idea. It might stop some of the muppets on the road using their rear fogs with only the slightest drizzle occuring.

Rear fogs have to be wired to an independ switch with a red warning light on it,unless you wire them in line with front fogs!!
As you may want to use rear fogs but not front fogs then independantly wired is the way to go,use a period red dot light pull switch a'la HRW and mount on the panel where the HRW switch is!
