exhaust - Does 2.2TC back box fit V8

I need a back box for v8 Auto and have access to a 2.2 tc manual - does the back box fit or indeed any other 2.2tc bits fit the V8 cars eg suspension

All exhaust parts are different. Parts that are the same (or some of them other than panels/trim etc) are front swivel pillars, siderods, rear suspension other than springs, diff apart from crownwheel and pinion, rear discs and driveshafts. There will be others but not as many as you might think looking at the two cars.

All the back boxes ive come across are all the same shape and contour,but either small or large bore!
if your donor is a small bore "probably is" ,and you have a small bore 3500 it will fit!
If I remember right,small is 47mm,large is 54mm
In an emergency in 05, I grafted a good small bore backbox onto a large bore system! I used the joint bit +6" where it joins the other box off the old large bore box bit and welded it to the small bore after trimming that one back so as to make a new slip joint then welded them together
It worked a treat till I got another large bore back box!!
its now in my spares box!!
Now though, I am saving up for a full large stainless system with a lifetime,owner transferable warranty.
Thats gonna be £3-400!! ouch!!

On my old 2.2TC I grafted a 2" straight through "cherry bomb" type box onto the original tubing, was cheaper than a standard back box.
