Since the engine I removed from my NADA P6 was not a Rover engine, there were no lift brackets attached to it. The DPO (Dreaded Previous Owner) at least showed enough courtesy to put some removed brackets in a box that was in the boot.
Where do they go?
There is one bracket that, according to the parts book, goes on the front left cylinder head -- it also serves as an anchor for the AC compressor adjustment bracket.
There is another flattish bracket that, according to the parts book, goes on a cylinder head on the rear, but it does not specify on which side. I also have a couple of brackets that came on the 3.9L donor engine.
So the question comes down to how many lift brackets and where are they located?
Thanks!!
