Electric Fuel Pump

More experienced people on this forum will give you more valid advice on the pros and cons of what you suggest, but to me your suggestions are both logical and practical, and I see no reason why it should not work :) .

My own thoughts all along on this fuel pump dilemma have been to avoid having electrical connections and further petrol pipe joins, under the car near the tank, I go along with ChrisYork on this as I already have a Hugo suction pump ready to fit behind the nearside front headlights leaving the pipework from tank, including the reserve tap all as is, and nothing I have heard or read have changed my opinion. to each his own etc etc

NB: I have always carried a spare-overhauled & ready to go -mechanical pump in my spares cache in the boot - peace of mind....and once in last 10 years have been grateful when miles from anywhere
