Some guys on facebook are talking about having a meet in the derby leicester notts triangle.

Any interest from anybody here?

Hi All - sorry for the delay in sending this. Regarding an East Midlands P6 meet up, I'd like to share my initial idea after meeting Nick last weekend. We are located in Castle Donington, Loughborough, Long Eaton, Leicester, Birstal, Melton Mowbray and Sheffield. Nick mentioned a pub in Hathern (a few miles from J24 M1) that already holds a regular MG meet (so obviously classic car friendly). This is about geographically centrally for us. Also one of the group can only do Monday's, therefore could this be the day of the week to go for? We could have the first one next month. I was thinking of meeting up, then going for a short drive and returning to the same pub or another before setting off home. Can you please let me know your thoughts on the day of the week and location? Also if you can't do any of the Monday's in June?

Hi - 1st East Midlands P6 meeting to be held on Monday 16th June 2014 at the Anchor Inn, Hathern at 7:30pm. Hope you are able to join us? Thanks Jez Dobbs
 
Thanks for your kind arrangements. I will try and be there hoefully with, but possibly without the P6, as I have some small jobs and an MOT to do on it.
 
Yes - all go... I'll be in the 75 as the p6 is still poorly... I'll be back on it when the triathlon's been and gone :)

Has anyone had anymore thoughts about another meet now August has rolled around?
My 3500 is off the road at the moment for some prop and wheel bearing work but will be back shortly. Just thought I would bump this again though after the success of the last one.
 
nothing i've heard as yet. It's been pointed out we should probably let the club know what we're doing next time directly as it means we'll have liability insurance. It was a great success i thought :)
