Is it still possible to get information from DVLA website (mentioning registration number) if a car is taxed?

Hmm, searching for a xxx 131H license plate DVLA gives information that this P6 was first registered in November 1975 !

H = 1969/70 but not 1975....

Any explaination?

It was probably exported new, and then when it was
re-imported in 1975, re-registered and given and age related 'H' plate.

If that was the case, at that time age related plates weren't issued, it would have got whatever suffix was current at the time, hence the amount of tax exempt imports running about on up to "X" suffix (1982) which is when age related and "Q" plates were introduced.

Could also be a personal plate on it or its a ringer!!
