Dunlop split rim alloys

Tyres are metric

Hi, Actually they are not. If you view the enlarged pics you can read the sizes on the tyre wall.

I have always liked these wheels but that is too much money for me.

A guy I know had a set, if they weren't metric they were a fun expensive size of tyre.

Look smart though

195 70 14 isn't too difficult to find is it? If the auction finishes withoutbids I'm tempted to make an offer

Maybe I am getting confused as it was a number of years ago last time I saw the guy. Maybe I was thinking they were michelin.

I suppose £300 with usable tyres isnt bad.

Hi they are calling them split rim as they have alley centers and steel rims . Full on split rims have a ring of bolts that can be undone to separate the two ( sometimes three ) parts .
I see Rockey got in on the picture !
He looks cleaner there !
stina

he is younger and all male there too!

Exactly so Stina. They have single piece chromed steel rims rivetted to the alloy centre. They were standard on MGB V8 and on particular ages of Scimitar, but not necessarily with the same rim and stud pattern (the MG was four stud). They were offered as a retro fit for various cars directly by Dunlop and are very rare indeed on a P6. I've never heard of them being used on an SD1, I'm pretty sure they were obsolete by then.

Bridgestone, Kumho and Toyo all make 195/70 or 75 tyres in a 14.
I recently bought Kumho 195/70/r14s. Good tyre.

Yep - i like those... First alloys i've seen that i think would suit PAE...

I have a set in my attic, just without the centre caps. I sold my Rostyles in order to purchase them, and they'll be fitted to OXC when she's done. They really are a nice (and rare) set of wheels.. :)

Why is it that each time this set of wheels doesn't sell, the seller adds £25 on the start price and advertises them again? They are now £350!

This is an eBay tactic I am not aware of!!

dunno. seems odd. maybe he thinks he should recouperate his listing fees each time he puts them on or something?
