They'll fit ok but the recline lever will be on the wrong side and you'll do yourself a mischief when you get in and out. It is possible to strip down the seats and I think (not absolutely sure, anyone know?) that the squabs and backs are interchangeable i.e. not handed. I took a seat apart a while back to change a broken recline lever and it wasn't much fun. Even with the factory manual it was the cause of much swearing.

yes it is possible to change the seats over. but you have to change the lever, which can be done but is very time consuming. the seat backs are interchangeable on the series one cars but on series two cars you have the chrome side plate on the outer side. ie it is tapered in on that side for the inertia seat belts.
