Hi ray

I thought the cracking of the originals was age related. However I was watching an episode of "The Professionals" from back in the day and B&D where driving a P6 with cracked window seals ! The car was probably only 5 years old.

Back when they were available, (1970's?) I bought a set of 4 through the Rover Dealer. In packages with factory numbers.
I installed one side of the '65 2000SC, but never got to the other side. The installed pair are long gone to pieces. The remaining unused pair are as new .My conclusion is that sun, rain, snow, environment (especially sun) are what kills the rubber, even though there is an age limit expectation on the pieces.
