Didsbury is in South Manchester, we have attended this show for the last few years. The Rover P6 Club will be attending this years on Sunday 13th July. We have 8 cars booked in at present but can always fit a few more in.
Anyone interested drop me a message, it's always a good day out.

Cheers
Mick.

Looks like you boys had a great day to play in .
Love the line up presented . Very honest looking morrie postal van there . I'd drive that all day .
Opening shot takes the cake -
What denotes a vintage car in your world up there ? It used to be a car 30yrs or older in my part of the world . How does that work with a '65 Zephyr or a P6 - what are we driving ? Vintage ,veteran , old timer ,classic - yaadi yaadi yaah

It's a very tricky subject. The only term that is absolutely set in stone is veteran - to be classed as veteran a car must have been built before 1905.

Most of the other terms have a meaning depending on the context - for instance the tax authorities have a very specific idea of a 'classic car' - over 15 years old and valued over £15000 and a third criterion that is too arcane for me to understand, never mind explain to a forum. Suffice to say that to the UK taxman, few P6s are classic cars.

Most car shows, especially local ones like Didsbury, tend to be inclusive and the classic-ness is in the eye of the beholder.
