Dash pot lid/damper

Several times now after a run I've noticed that one of my hs6 dash pot dampers has come unscrewed and ends up sticking out the top of the cover by a couple of inches. It screws down tight again, but ends up undone again over time. Has this happened to anyone else?
 
Yes - only on the right side , never the drivers side.
Ive used loctite in the past with success.
 
Put a turn or two of plumber's tape around it and screw it back in. It's a trick a friend uses to keep
motorcycle fairings from rattling off.
