Cranks

Is the flywheel end of the cranks the same for an auto and a manual? I see two very different drawings in the workshop manual, one with a raised hub that the pilot bearing sits in for the manuals, and the auto just a smooth flange with an adaptor ring?

Regards, Andrew.

Yes the cranks are the same on both auto and manual, even though if I remember rightly they are listed under different part numbers, the only difference is the spigot bush. Early cranks are different to later ones, the later ones having a groove machined in the front face of the crank where the pulley bolts on.
