Dear All

With the demise of L.R.P. imminent at the end of the year could anyone suggest the best addative to use in my 2200T.C.
And its availability.

Hello Chaddy Lad,
I use Castrol Valvemaster Plus as it's one of the approved additives as tested by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, one of the cheapest and available in all Halfords stores (as well as many others).
Other users will prefer other makes (there are seven or eight approved) but check the cost per litre of fuel.

No additives needed. Perfectly happy on unleaded. Older ones with higher compression only need an octane booster or the ignition retarded. There's a thread on this topic in the V8 engine section.
