Could anyone tell me if a carb from a 2200 is compatable for a early 2000 if so is there any problrms I may encounter thanks gary

This probably isnt the official stand point, but over time my 2000sc has run with a 2200sc engine, and both engines have had both carbs without problems that I am aware of.
Currently it is running the original engine with the 2200 carb (I think it was to much trouble to take off the cable when the engine went back in).
SU carbs are all so similar that originality aside it doesnt make much difference - have a play and report back!
