Carbs leaking

Just went to collect my 2200tc from its garage and its leaking fuel from 1 of the carbs straight on to the exhaust downpipe I think its comming from the bottom of the carb. From reading this forum I understand that there are 2 types of carbs how can I tell what ones I have . Any advice would be great

2200's only have one type of carb, HIF6's. It's probably just flooding, try tapping the bottom of the carb with the handle of a screwdriver to see if it stops, if so it was most likely a bit of grit got jammed in the needle and seat. When those carbs flood they leak out of the side of the main body. There is a float chamber cover on the bottom that's sealed with a rubber "O" ring, but I can't remember the last time I had one of those leak.
 
turns out that it is the float has a hole in it (its full of petrol ) so now i have to try and find a float
