Brown Rover 1970 ROVER P6B 3500 V8

This one's been on before - it's an EXTREMELY early Series II.

When it was initially on eBay a few months ago there was a suspicion that this could be the 'missing' ROV1 registered car from 1970. It isn't, but it may well have been a manager at Pengam works's car - certainly was registered in South Wales prior to the Series II being announced.

Is there any possibility to find out how many P6 are still on road? In Latvia we have special CSDD database to get some information, its like DVLA in UK.

Nick, re ROV1, are you talking about mine or have you found where ROV1 went after my car was registered OXC140H?

For at least ten minutes we had a suspicion this was the ROV1 after your car was ROV1 - we're missing the 1970-1971 car in the records.

It isn't Chris, sorry!

It is though, an interesting car.

Got an email from the seller. Chassis number has been confirmed - so this one is the oldest surviving Series II-451 car I have listed on my database up to now - and I like it :D
