As I've discovered by now, nothing on my p6 is simple, as I imagine is the case with many p6's restored on this forum.
Today, I took my boot carpets and rubbers out to clean up and had a quick look ever the wiring of the boot light which hasn't worked since I bought the car.
I took it all apart and had a look at the assembly and noticed the following.
1.The switch which activates the bootlid, is not wired up to anything at all, see that attached photo.
2.The boot-light is attached to a purple and black wire and a purple wire, similar to the ones attached to the wires on the overhead light.
3. There is a blue and blue/green wire attached to nothing just lying about the boot space, this for anything specific?
So basically, whats ment to be wiring to what?
