Am I correct in assuming what was called the "Austin America" was called the Marina on the other side of the pond?

The Austin America was a two door Austin 1300 (ADO16) that had a few more additions for the American market, like side marker lights and emission control engine.

The Morris Marina was a completely different car, based loosely on the Morris Minor as Chris said, and appeared in 1969 in an attempt to attract conservative customers from the contemporary Ford Cortina.

However, just to confuse things a little more, the ADO 16, was sold in Denmark as a Morris Marina. Not sure what the "real" Marina was called there though!
