Bonnet & Rear Bumper

Parts list is getting shorterand car is getting whiter

I am still looking for :
a decent rear bumper (old one is shot and of no use)
a Bonnet for a 1972 2000 TC S2 (mines dinted and split in several places)

idealy within 50 miles of Doncaster,South Yorkshire?

not ready just yet but any assitance appreciated

I'd be inclined to visit Ian Wilson for the bonnet - I think he's got an S2 TC in at the moment. The rear bumper is likely to be a major problem. As I discovered, they are prone to corrosion behind the bumper iron brackets where the rear wheels throw spray and muck up into the underside of the bumper. Consequently there are few if any NOS ones around and no 2nd hand ones in any sort of condition. My supposedly good spares were equally bad on aggressive inspection. The good news is that a decent chrome plater can recover a bumper from apparently totally terminal condition, both corrosion and accident damage wise. The bad news is that it is pricey - expect to finish up paying around £400 or the rectification and chroming. PS all bumpers except NADA are interchangeable, so no need to specify TC, V8 etc.

I've got a half decent rear bumper sitting up at the house, will probably need rechroming, however, its pretty damned solid. I've de-bumpered mine, so surplus to requirement. I also have a series 2 bonnet, not too sure on the condition of that though, may need some work.
