hi the points in my 2000tc 1969 are like two small glass domes
with a small fan that turns on the cam passing over the domes can anyone tell me what they are called or any info would be a big help cheers

Sounds to me like you haven't got points but a Lumenition unit
The glass domes are infra red transmitter / receiver and the "fan" is a chopper that breaks the beam and triggers the
coil

If it works , keep it. It's a worthwhile addition
I've got a unit for a Ford Pinto OHC engine .Anyone got a distributor adaptor for a V8 going spare /cheap?
