So... Hi again!

Bill here from Vancouver island. I popped in with a lovely but rusty 1968 2000 TC a while back. well... life happens. I drove the car for a year or so, then finally had to sell it as my collection of "other cars" and a lack of space got in my way. Well.. i just bought it back. It still needs bodywork, but since it was a daily driver last time, it has new rear brake pads, and an electronic ignition.

I hope to collect it next week, at which point pictures will be forthcoming. It feels great to have it in the stable again. I look forward to driving it a lot. That was part of the reason I bought it. My Jeep mileage is terrible, and I recall the Rover was significantly better, and frankly, more fun to drive. It will be pressed into full time service, but will hopefully get the panel repair it needs and fresh coat of paint it deserves.

Anyway.. hello... Hello again!

The Rovers Return

A couple pics of my old Rover as it sits. The tin worm has been busy, but I have a panel or two I can replace the crusty ones with. I suspect (as wen i initially purchased it, a vigorous scrubbing to dispose of the grime and algae, things will be a lot brighter. If nothing else, a good reminder of why letting a car sit is worse than using it!

The Rovers return...
Last time i drove it was to a British Car Show, then to a spot not far from here so i could sort out the parking brake stickoing (I never did..) Since then, apart from sitting in storage, it's had a new electronic ignition and new fuel lines.
