I've got a '75 V8 fitted with a BW65 box. My garage recently adjusted the shift cable to improve gear changes - it was changing up very late and couldn't be made to change by backing off the throttle. Since the adjustment it is much better in this respect, however I now get quite an alarming 'clonk' when coming to to rest as the 'box drops into first. This doesn't happen every time, but when it does its quite noticable to say the least! Any advice please? Thanks, Mike
