Another Introducing myself

Welcome neilc. I am sure will get plenty help from this forum if you are looking for a car. Are you after a ready to drive example or a fixer upper?

Hi NeilC,

Welcome to the ClassicRoverForum.

Let us know whereabouts you're located, if you need any assistance or another pair of eyes when you go to view a car, someone on the forum maybe close at hand. We're a willing, passionate bunch always ready to help each other out.

Best of Luck,

Cheers,
Bri.

Well I have made an offer on a car and will seal the deal with seller over the weekend. I have been browsing the archives on the forum and I can see there is a massive amount of support and really helpful advice on here. I live in Sussex, work in Sunbury so look forward to joining the meets at Shepperton.

Having sealed the deal with a deposit today, I have purchased the beautiful 3500S Nick has had on offer for the last couple of weeks. The car really is as good as he says it is. He is sorting our one or two very minor niggles that are inevitable with a car just recommisioned after sitting for a while, but on the 12 mile test drive, including a good blast down a couple of miles of the A3, the car performed impeccably! If all goes according to plan, should be picking the car up in a week or two. This is a car with VERY long legs so needs to be used - and she will be - so watch out for me around the roads of Sussex and Surrey in the coming weeks. Cheeky of me (its your photo Nick!), but in case you missed the ebay listing, here is one of his photos of the car

Welcome to the forum Neil.
Most of the niggles are now sorted - the speedo has gone for re-calibration, and the starting problem has been found to be the relay under the bonnet and associated wiring.
Keep you updated with progress
Cheers
Nick

Well - today's the day. Nick called me an hour or so - LDD is ready. Will be picking her up at about 6.30 this evening. Can't wait to be a full member of the P6 driving fraternity again!

Neil

Congratulations Neil! :D

Smile on your face every time you slide behind the wheel...but you knew that already didn't you? :)

Cheers,
