So... It's "award season" here in lala land and it occurred to me that we have one or two people here on the forum that should be recognized for their contribution to the community...

Unlike the actors that get paid millions to play at make believe for a living, and expect to get an award for it, these people provide a much needed service to our community...

With that being said... I propose Warren for recognition for his contribution to the Rovering community in the field of technical posting for his ZF conversion thread.

Before anyone says anything, I know that there are many, many people that have made contribution in this area; however, Warren has done a fantastic job of collating and communicating all of this information to us all. I have been in email communication with Warren and I can tell you from first hand experience just how helpful and informative he is - he is also very good about giving credit where credit is due. I haven't had any communication with the other gurus in this field, but thanks to Warren, I have access to all of their collective experience.

So... I propose that the Oscar for technical posting goes to Kiwi contributor Warrenl.

Andy - you are a real gent - you are one of the major, but unnamed contributors to whom I was referring - you deserve recognition too...
 
There are far more knowledgeable people on here who give excellent advice on a wide range of topics, I can think of one who stands out a mile, but anyone who takes the time out to help another person in a dilemma or a tuff spot, is worthy of an award in my book, as are those who have taken the time to share a project ( warts n all ) as Warren has, I take my hat off to those who undertake a full resto, and share that trip with the rest of us armchair critics.
Keep up the good work all who post on here, I enjoy reading the threads and posts.

There are some truly excellent guys (and gals) that post here on the forum. They have all been a help and inspiration to me and I am very, very grateful for all who post here - I couldn't do it without their help and advice.

I mentioned Warren in particular as he tackled a project that has been discussed for quite a while, and he meticulously documented the whole thing - warts n all.

So a big thank you goes out to pretty much everyone here.
 
Warren probably gets thread of the year...

Harvey probably gets the font of all rover knowledge award, but it's so difficult to single people out because everyone does what they can.

I tackle jobs but am totally useless at taking pics for other people to follow. I tend to get carried away :)
