Adjustable Struts

I've been visiting this forum regularly for the last couple of weeks now, after recently acquiring an unheathly interest in the car. I want one!

Anyways, I've noticed that at least a couple of people were interested in lowering their cars - perhaps the link below can help? I'm not sure if it's just the damping rate that's adjustable, but on the official AVO website it says that many of their classic applications 'also offer the facility to adjust the ride height via the spring seat, which is adjusted up and down the threaded damper body.'

Hope it's of some help,

Excellent,
What a good find

P.S. Go on get a P6 you know it makes sense, I use mine every day, If you want a practical classic that everyone stares at it can't be beat!

You will only get adjustable damping rate with these shocks.

Thanks for posting the link though as I was looking for a decent set of shocks and didn't realise AVO made them.

Great minds think alike!
I have just ordered some AVO adjustable shocks for the blue critter. They are very well built and with the knob dialled all the way in the car will be like riding in a F1 car with no roll. No give either, but with a bit of playing I hope to get the damping rate set up for everyday driving comfort, with the number of the best Yahoo setting noted.
I am still looking into lowering, but with the state of some of our local roads I really dont want to go any lower! :)
Chop the struts perhaps to retain full motion of the leading arms? :(
Merry Christmas all
