ace cafe

Couldn't make it this month, which was handy given the date :p

The food used to be better than it is now IMO but it is only a Cafe at the end of the day :)

A caf's not a caf unless you can get bacon, egg, sausage, chips, beans, black pudding, two slices and a cuppa.

'Kin 'ell, there are some things I really miss about back home... :(

Went there while I was in London, there was meant to be some car or bike night on, no one had turned up, was dying of hunger, had a quiche (yes, that's all they had left and it was horrible!) and took a very long train trip home.

Can say I've been there and I have the t-shirt, but god it was freezing. Would love to go back and see some mods and rockers there one day.

I swear I saw Brenten/Brenton from Maxpower magazine there too running around organising something.

Sometimes it can happen that events die a death during the colder darker months, but genraly the atmosphere is awesome and packed out, most of the motoring magazines frequent the Ace Cafe so your eyes did not deceave you. Also there's lots of filming there too including 5th Gear. Hope you can get down there for another event sometime to experience a better time.

Yeah, I'd love to go back to London, this time I would make sure I had a job lined up before I immigrated, rather than move and take the chance like last time.

I'm happy. Maybe I'm a bit too easily pleased :)

It may be your Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle

Imo the whole world and the people on it have changed, attitudes etc....

I was going to take issue with that statement, but then I thought about it - you are right, how sad... :(

It's that time again classic car nite at the Ace, and it looks like the weathers turned again :)
I'll be there rain or shine :D
Anyone else???

Not long in from the Ace cafe, and considering the rain a better turn out than last time I went, so some pics :)
