hi,
went to look at this last year. looks great in the pictures, but n/s front wing is dented, o/s front wing is shot, two of the doors are kaput, n/s front door was one, there is a piece of tape stuck over a hole and been painted over. one of the rear wings, again needs replacing, can't remember which one. the whole car has been resprayed inc roof, door - glass seals are shot ( insulating tape covers them ) inner wings are full of surface rust, but only surface rust, there is an annoying immobiliser fitted into the wiring. the car was i believe first registered in wales. the base unit is unwelded, which is a bonus. there is a stack of paperwork, but some of it did not tally with the mileage, i pointed that out, so the vendor could possibly have removed a few sheets. it is definately a low mileage car as like i said the base unit is excellent. the engine is tapperty even once warm, a good service and oil change might get rid of it. so at the least it needs one rear wing, one front wing and one front door, the other door can / could be saved and the other front wing might be saveable with a good dent puller as it was solid. it then needs a respray. i hope this gives any one thinking of looking at it what they will need to spend on it to make it a nice car again.

hi all,
apparently i got told it was originally up for £6,000 i saw it last year at £5,000 he said i could have it for £4,000 after i pushed him for wasting my time going down. i speciffically asked a lot of questions, one of them being was it original paint, yes he said. as you know i have just bought a NADA from the states, i went to look at this for turning it into a NADA, i know some might say sacrilige, but all to there own ! for £3,000 i think i would have bought it and then spent money on what i have said wants doing to it..
