I have finished the home restoration of the 71 TC I purchased in July last year. This car had not been on the road since 2015 but was well garaged and therefore not a speck of rust in it. Brakes were completely seized and the engine had an SC head on it (with the TC bits in a box). Turns out the TC head had a worn valve guide so a relatively easy recondition and reinstallation back to a TC vehicle. Interior was well knackered so new upholstery, door cards, and carpets were made.
All bodywork, paint, upholstery, carpets and mechanical work done by myself in the garage. Not concourse by any means, but a lovely car.
I now have the same exercise to do on a 75 V8.
