3500S NADA in the UK

Chris York knows more about this one, it's with a well-known Rover collector near Bristol. Apparently the work so far is stunning.

Why would you get yourself so far in, and so close to finishing it, and then sell for a loss? That intrigues me.

hi harvey,
in this case as i know the gentleman, it unfortunately is his deteriating health. like you say, sometimes you wonder why, but in this case it is a genuine sale and yes he will be taking a loss on the car.

Shame.

I bet you're just a little bit tempted.

hi harvey,
what gave you that idea :D i have had a chat with him. i fetched the car over, sold it to him and started on the suspension and underneath. i then bought ray weekley's business and did not have the time. i recommended him to someone i know and yes i know what has been done to it. i have just bought the 18,000 mile almond one that was for sale and not sure if i need another at the moment. i have my own NADA, one on it's way over as we speak for my son. if i was to buy it, i would have to underseal the underneath. as good as it looks it needs some dinitrol on it to stop the paint chipping.

The gent is a freind of mine who has a stunning collection of P6's and parts. He's selling all bar one car. If anyone wants to have a chat with me in private, I'll tell all, but he's a very private chap, so not on the forum.

Chris
