1990 Rover 827 Fastback

I've had so many time wasters who've arranged to view, but haven't turned up, so, if you're seriously interested, get in touch.

I've had quite a few phone calls. Three people arranged to view, and never turned up. One person viewed, said he'd have a think, and never got back in touch, and someone's coming to see it on Saturday.
I'm surprised too, as it's such a lovely, genuine car.

I've now had an inordinate number of time wasters (none from this forum, I'm pleased to report!), interested in this car who have arranged to view, and simply not turned up. I'm very open to offers, so, if you'd like it, get in touch, and I'll gladly discuss it with you.
This is a car for an enthusiast, most certainly.

I might well do that. Anything to stop the emails every single day, from the same people, asking how much I'll take today, from them. I didn't know so many time wasters existed.

Come on somebody, worth every penny.................if you've been following the 83K 827 Vitesse Auto on flebay recently.

Reached £1200 before withdrawn last week well before Auction end, seller told me he'd accepted offer of £1,700.............appeared on ebay again this week (new seller) for £4,500, then £2,500 now £4,000 again...........just search Rover Vitesse

OK so the Vitesse guy is a nutter and isnt going to get what he is (occasionally) asking for, and the car is better specced, but even so makes this one look a bargain.

I'm banned from buying any more cars until either the P6 or the M535 goes so cant help out.

Ian

I'm pretty surprised that it's not sold, I must admit! I've had lots of people arrange to view, who've never turned up, as well. It's not perfect, but, it's a very nice example, which is pretty striking, and it's a very genuine car.

I did like that Vitesse on ebay, which looked very striking, I must say, but I quite like the simplicity of the Si, when it's got exactly the same engine. :D

I'm sure there are quite a few of us who would happily give it a home if we didn't have too many cars already, more storage, more money.....etc, etc.

Are you able to bring it along to the SARR? Might temptba fellow roverfile but nice to see one and if it wins a trophy it wont do your sales pitch any harm.

Colin

I might bring it up to the SARR, Colin! Depends how my weekend pans out, as to whether I'll be able to make it, this year, but, I'll see how things go! :D
