1969 3500 P6.

Hi
Unfortunatley I think it might be wise if I sell my Three Thousand Five.

I am the third owner, it has done 57,000-ish miles and is MOT'd until the 20th of May 2015. I thought I would see if anyone here wants first dibs before offer it to the big bad world. The car is near The Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Good Points...

Pretty much original.
Drives really nicely.
No accident damage I can find.
No serious (or even vaguely worrying) rust.
All panels straight.
I've been using it as my daily since May, it's been no real trouble and has averaged 18 mpg.

Bad Points....

The Autobox has had it. Drives forward fine but there in no reverse.
AED is disconnected due to being useless.
*Someone* removed a small section of the rear inner arches to clear slightly larger wheels. It's a neat job and they will weld back on with ease.
There is quite a lot of surface rust underneath and in the engine bay.
Paint is dead and there have been local repairs.
Radiator has a small leak near the top.
Interior is tired.
Bonnet needs paint.

I am only selling because I have a couple of projects that really need my attention ( yes, even more than a Rover P6 !), I don't feel that getting the 'box rebuilt will increase the sale value by anymore than cost and I don't think another winter outside will do it much good.

I see it as being a good start for a regular usage/rolling resto or a really good base for a full restoration.

Price ? I have no idea.

If I say "Every offer considered" I really do mean it. Try me publicly or by PM, you wont insult me and I wont be dismissive. I'd much rather it went to someone on here than the Ebay-ists.

Thank you for reading, Dan.
