At 90 odd thousand miles, and an SC without an oil pressure guage, watchout for those bearing shells........ Bri.
Not sure about the dash Chris...I'll have a better gander when it's here. Thanks for the tip re Paul...I'll bear that in mind.chrisw said:Now that is a beautiful car, and a great colour!
Does it have the early cardboard dash, or just a little too late?
As for a trailer - try Paul Ridley through the SD1 website. He does it professionally, and has brought an XJS and XJ6 to my place without any problems. Decent rates too.. and always good to keep classics in the family

Hi Dave...sure OCY (aka The Tart) would turn on me if I turfed her out! At the moment she's backed up on ramps with the fuel tank out, which will be refitted this evening with a refurbed sender (courtesy of Dave McSweeney - cheers Dave!)pilkie said:You build a nice new garage for OCY and no sooner has he moved in and got cozy, you chuck him out for a '66' 4 pot!
Quite possibly...but no room to work! Can you squeeze both in ???
Apart from a couple of minor perfs in the boot floor she looks really solid.Looks like a good buy that Stan!

That must be a late '65 build or very early '66 then. I'm re-doing mine with Dunlops. I haven't quite decided whether to leave it as +ve earth yet, though. :|
