Visited the Alexandra Palace "Classic" Car Show last Sunday and was fairly disapointed (no P6 bits in the autojumble!!!). But I noticed two "performance enhancing" devices being pedalled quite forcefully and wondered if anyone has any experience of them.

Finally had my 1972 TC out for a run today after several weeks spent preping the suspension for her future as a historic rally car. I am delighted with the results, the car is really stable under all conditions and is noticably more agile than in standard form, so I thought I'd share what I've...
Does anyone know the original SU identification number for the main jet needles on Twin HS8 carbs as fitted to a 1972 TC without emmision control?
Despite lots of work on the needle lathe I still can't quite get mine perfect with the Pipercross filter and cam mods.
Finally I discovered that I...

Please don't devote to much time to this as it is only an "out of interest" enquiry, but can anyone explain the "logic" or time line in the fitting of under/over riders to P6 bumpers.
My original thought was that they were an option and that the underriders were the original style on the 2000...
OK, I'm probably being an idiot here but can anyone please tell me what thread wheel nuts a 1972 P6 should have. The manual I have seems to suggest they should be 7/16th UNF which they're not. I wondered if they had been replaced with SD1 10mm but they haven't. Any ideas?
I've just gone through the engine section of my Haynes manual in preparation for pulling my TC lump and Blueprinting it. In the first paragraph, headed general description, the manual describes both the crankshaft and con rods as being "forged". I'd love to think this is correct, but some how...

Greetings O Wise Ones. I again come before you seeking knowledge and this time my question is. Are there alternative stiffnesses to the anti roll bars between the various models and series of P6/P6Bs? I'm guessing that those on the 3500 are stiffer and perhaps the S stiffer still. Does anyone...
Can anyone help me here? I am trying to work out which model of SU carbs my 1972 2000 TC is fitted with and before anyone says it, I do know about the ID tags. Trouble here is that they are missing off my carbs. Here is my problem, the Haynes Manual indicates that the TC should have twin HD8...

There is another possible option with SD1 wheels, although they may be quite rare now. Following the introduction of the SD1 many Police forces chose to use them as pursuit vehicles, including the Metropolitan Police. Unfortunately the Met opted for the 2600 with auto trans with steel wheels...
Does anyone know what the diameter and spline count is on the P6 steering wheel mount, or alternatively if any other vehicles used the same fitting. I'm trying to find a 13" three spoke leather wheel for my rally P6 project.
