Quite certain you need to Find 185/14 HR. I believe that the correct aspect ratio is 82.Which is standard on H rated. These are still available,they normally need to be ordered in.

Not unusual to have a turbo fed from one bank on 'V' engines.Not sure that manifold would be ideal for P6 as it looks very SD1 to me.In any case it would not be as simple to simply bolt on.The compression of the engine would need to be low to deal with the increase of intake and combustion.

Would like to know whether alloy cosmic wheels were ever a factory option or just simply a period additition? If so anyone willing to shift a set for my P6B?

Definatley use the bell housing threads,make sure you do not use set screws (bolts with threads all the way up to the hex) as these do not have the tensile strenth.Use the existing bell housing bolts with spacers and washers where necessary.

Are there any modifications out there to extract more power from the heater blower motor? In my view P6 blowers were always a little weak on performance and although my car is original with 8k i would have expected better performance in line with other P6B'S that i have owned with higher...

After having my rostyles refurbed by R.J.Spratley (excellent work by the way) i have decided to try and locate either a supplier of 185 14 h tyres with a 13mm white band or a firm who can scorch in a coloured band into a tyre that i can supply.I believe there used to be such a firm in the u.k...

Think you will find that they sell both types of tools...one slotted (P6) the other toothed (SD1)

They can weap a bit after that conversion despite how accurate you are with a drill...the extra internal plate just doubles the chances of leaks but is quite effective in its application.

just to add,fill up oil fillter as high as possible prior to assembly ...also correct priming tool used via a drill is available from rimmer brothers under V8 section
