Yes passed mot no problems, I have fitted front and rear camera's front shows better angle and is displayed in front of driver. Don't really need it as I can see over the top.

New msd ignition fitted msd coil electronic pickup in Mallory dizzy and tidy up of fuse box. And new seats too. Runs woohoo much better.

Daughter is going to rebuild it now. She's 13 and keen to learn about cars.

Progress. Will attach more photos when I shrink them down. As stated before new seats fitted anyone and charger have been rebuilt and msd ignition fitted and more to come.

Hi. Yes got an old p6 that has seen better days bodywise so using it as a donor. The manifold has a crack or two with I have not welded up and it will be going back together soon. More pics on the way. Have a good new year to all.

Lol I'm not bothered about the fuel economy or the mot. It's just others out there that do mods on their cars not realising that it would exempt the mot exemption.

What about the 15% increase of power to ratio......if you change the engine that increases the power to weight ratio 15%more than standard, your vehicle doesn't fall into the mot exemption. Also any major modification after 1988 including engine will exempt it too. I'm trying to copy and paste...

More problems from the blower..... manifold welds leaking and manifold now has a crack. And leaks fuel so not going anywhere till that is now sorted. Problems problems problems. Anyone recommend a decent manifold that will handle the pressure.?

Havent floored it yet as the welds on the intake manifold aren't going to take the pressure. It goes really well as you can imagine .. going gentle till that gets sorted ,the eyes are off. Not so sure on the mirrors. And going to uprate the diff and get a new box. Might try a rx8 box. Been told...

Just a quick update. New dash going on with more detailed gauges to let me know what the engine is doing. Plus an on-board front and rear camera recording. For fun and proof. Plus it helps me see all past the supercharger.lol

I would imagine that all these thoughts were repeated when the first exemptions were announced. Makes me wonder why there wasn't a two tier mot developed at that time. As it stands to reason that the older pre 60s cars are alot heavier and are not as good in the safety aspect as the later cars...

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I have a few issues to sort out with it but starting with interior with upgraded. Before sorting out engine and drivetrain. Will keep you posted.
