Over the past 8 months or so I have been having an intermittent braking problem on my '73 V8 P6, the brake pedal goes all soft and squishy and the brakes aren't doing much in the way of braking without being pumped up, usually two or three pumps of the pedal have the brakes back up to normal...

A week or so I was up Eastleigh way and saw two (I think) black P5s in convoy up the main road, I was passenger in my friend's car so we couldn't share any Rover love, but I gesticulated wildly in the general direction. Greetings P5 owners of Southampton!

Accursed car parks! I did almost exactly the same thing at Gatwick airport, those damn car parks aren't designed for big old motors with no power steering, especially those that have no brakes at the time! Except it was the rear driver side door and the rear quarter, still got the mangled trim...

Thanks for the info on repairing the window, I have heard of that conductive paint before, wasn't really expecting it to be any use, but I suppose I might as well give it a go, might be a tiny bit cheaper than a new window :lol: I really hope I don't have to face rebuilding carbs anytime...
