Hi Harvey, I would do the rebuild myself but yes I believe the drop arms are difficult to get off. Is the steering box easy to get in and out with the engine in place on the V8? I vaguely remember someone telling me it's a pig of a job. Presumably you break the two ball joints on the drop arm...

Hi harvey Do the SD1 minilites have a larger centre hole than the p6 ones? I have a set with the larger hole but wondered what they were off. What centre cap did you use?

Something doesn't add up here. A car which had cylinder compression's of 30psi would not start easily, run smoothly or keep up with modern traffic.

The colortune works just fine on unleaded. It simply allows you to view the combustion process, there is nothing magic about it. A blue flame indicates correct ratio of air and fuel; fuel burn is complete. A yellow/amber flame indicates fuel burn is incomplete.

Had the same thing happen on my 2200TC. No knock but zero on gauge intermittently. Changed sender for a NOS and everthing was fine. Oil leaks from the crimped over joint.
