    yep i have checked fuel and spark, plug gaps might be a problem, and yes there was oil in the cylinders during compression testing and my starting attempts. as i said before i have swapped it for a blue 3500 in my other shed and may come back to this 2000 sometime in the future.

    I was rolling around on the ground investigating a leak on my '65 p6 rover 2000 and spotted what seems to be a drain valve and next to it a plug that seems to go into the crankcase on the drivers side, (attached) it appears that they would be too high up on the crankcase to be to drain any...
