Recently i noticed a similarity between the gearbox housing on my 2000 tc and that of a montego turbo engine i have. As my tc engine has low miles and runs great i am reluctant to pull it out but im wondering.... Is a single carb turbo o series transplant an option? cheers, Alan

Well, thanks for all the response... Ive heard of a place local to me who will make up systems for reasonable money - if this is true and its reasonable i'll let you know who it is! Usually they deal with big-bore noisy astras/cossie type stuff so hopefully then can make something quiet...

Well, its happy days, brought new leads, plugs and cap etc and it fired up pretty much straight away with a charged battery.. Enjoyed it so much it ran out of fuel!

Due to scabby bits at the bottom of the door I will be tackling them next (thats after setting up engine correctly). I wanted to get in early incase i have to order paint Who makes the best paint match for patch in work (aeresol cans sadly) to do the scabby bits. I spent several hours...

It wont keep running once fired so it could be any one of those. problem is that it has sat for 10 years so i honestly didnt expect it to run at all! I cleaned all the plugs up while unceasing (had to take them out anyway) so a new set are probably long overdue What kind of hassel should...

I have unceased my V8 engine and i now have another problem.... It starts but has to be turned for ages, then slows down, starts firing, speeds up and starts. Its almost as if it doesnt fire on all cylinders at first. Any ideas?

Ive found that I have a bar that goes from one side of the front suspension to the other - what is it? and where does it bolt to? I need to know what its called in order to buy the bits to mount it. Its a hexigan shaped bar i think. Thanks Alan
