    Sloppy shifter/4spd 2000TC - problem found/parts available????

    I had earlier posted a query about a sloppy shifter. I removed the 3 bolts holding in the shifter. It appears there was a bushing that is GONE. It went in between the ball on the bottom of the lever itself and into a cast/round receiver rod for the gearchange assembly. Where can I get this part...

    Electronic ignition/Pertronix - works great/no Tach

    I removed the points and installed a Pertronix Hall Effect unit in my 2000TC, it works perfectly. However I lost the tach signal. My Kenneth Ball/AutoPress Ltd repair manual wiring diagram does not show the Tach. Anyone had a similar experience and know how to restore the tach signal/function...

    Rear outer wheel bearings - plug at top of housing

    On the rear outer wheel bearing housing is a gasketed plug towards the top. I found clean wheel bearing grease inside after removing the plug. Is there a way to refresh the lubricant thru the plug. or must the assembly be taken apart for replacing the grease. Nothing in repair manual I could...

    Sloppy shifter linkage - very loose gear selector (4spd)

    I just purchases a 1967 TC w/74,000 miles in Minnesota and am having it shipped back to me in Northern New York (USA). The shifter is VERY loose making gear changes a mysterious thing. Is there a rebuild kit to get the shift gates back to OE specs? Thanx, bill
