John, Thanks for your reply, had a look at it the other evening, I think you must be right, I did have to adjust the throttle adjustment screw. Also noticed the throttle cable is a bit worn (sheathing), so replacing that will be my next job, I think!! Thanks for your reply Maurice :D

I noticed 'young simon' asked about fitting a 5 speed gearbox onto a 4 speed 2000TC. Does anybody know if this is possible with a '73 2000SC, if so would it be worthwhile doing. Cheers Maurice :)

It isn't just 3500 that have overiders, my 1973 2000SC has a has them fitted - it seems Rover had no set ruling on which cars they were fitted to! Maurice :)

Hi I' m looking to replace the wings on my 2000SC, however i'm undecided on which material to go for: firstly, its not really possible to keep it in 'original' condition, as its had work done by a previous owner. I like the idea of fibreglass wings - low maintenance, affordable, etc...
