p6 parts for sale open to offers

well been sorting out a old friend of mine that passed away and got tons of p6 parts which i am going to keep what i can for mth i will make a list when i comes across somthing i know i dont need if there is anything you need please pm me and i will try and have a look when i can

here is the little so far
front decker panels x5
rear decker panels x 2
front windscreens
rear windscreens
s wheels caps
normal hubcaps
series 2 dash v8
rear wheel boot cover x2
inner and outer door handles
series 1 2000 bonnet in white
rear 2000 top link

My beloved P6 is just undergoing a bare metal re-spray and the body shop are going to be asking me for all the bright work shortly inc bumpers etc. so any really nice chrome would be appreciated, what can you offer?

Handy that, you being in Middx and me in Bucks...
I will speak to my body shop tomorrow and check that they haven't sourced one and get back to you if I may.

Sorry cant help with any bumpers,they are almost impossible to get any with A1 chrome.
What are yours like?
Most good chrome platers can offer repairs to them before plating, unfortunately not a cheap hobby.

Hi Clive,
Been polishing them for 22 years so, as you can imagine, they are in desperate need of re plating. Maybe you could recommend a company for this? Many thanks in anticipation. Bob
 
Hi Bob,
I used the The London chromium platers in new kent road, i have only used them, on my last resto 25 years ago.
Bumpers then were 250 pounds each!
I fitted a p6 rear bumper recently to my mates car and price now 500 from them!
There are many other good platers about,some members might know,but you do get what you pay for.
I better start saving now for my nada resto:)

Gulp, good job the boss is out tonight... I paid less than two bumpers for the whole car nearly twenty-five years ago at that rate...

get hold of colin gould of kingsdown. He's had stainless ones made and the cost is about the same or less than rechroming. He'll at least tell you the name of the company that made them for him.
